On my computer, every time I visited our website, my virus scanner would freak out saying that something was trying to install malware on my computer.

What concerned me a little more was that I quickly scanned our website for malware and it kept coming up clean. (So why is my virus-scanner freaking out?)

As a precaution, all the administrative passwords are now changed. (If you happened to know the master admin passwords for the site they are now different and you now no longer know.)

I reinstalled virtually everything with no success, but then tracked down the plugin culprit and have disabled it until an update is released. (For those of you who are curious, it was the plugin that gave us twitter integration. I may leave it disabled because we don't really use it often.)

So now my virus scanner is happy, and we can browse our site in peace. (And the issue, while I don't know the details, was minor enough for the big website scanners to not be concerned.)
